Clearaudio Introduces New Performance Turntable

Clearaudio debuted the new $3000 Performance turntable/Verify tonearm combo at CES 2013. The new 'table features an electronically controlled DC motor driving a Delrin platter sitting atop an aluminum sub-platter, all riding on a magnetically levitated ceramic bearing. Looks to be a good value for the money.

Michael, how does the Clearaudio Performance compare with the VPI classic?

I'm more concerned with the base/core of the table, as I can always upgrade my tonearm and cartridge.

What is a better?

Without directly comparing I can't say. I've never reviewed the Classic 1.
