Jack White "Unplugged" Double LP Coming September 9th

Jack White Acoustic Recordings 1998-2016 will be released September 9th on double vinyl and double CD.

The 26 track album features alternative versions, mixes and previously unreleased recordings from The White Stripes, The Raconteurs and solo material, all remastered for this compilation, which Third Man calls "the essential Jack White songwriting collection.

The set includes "City Lights", which was written for The White Stripes' Get Behind Me Satan but then forgotten until White revisited the 2005 album for Third Man's Record Store Day 2015 vinyl reissue and finished the recording in 2016. The track is the first new, worldwide commercially released White Stripes song since 2008.

Wow, this looks really good. I've heard "Sugar Never Tasted So Good" live in Idaho on SoundCloud, it's awesone!
And $30 for this vinyl is not too much.

This looks awesome. I know Jack White puts out AAA records, but what are the odds something like this was put together in the analog realm?

I'll be picking this one up. I heard a clip of "City Lights" on his website (https://thirdmanrecords.com/), and it sounded remarkable. The guy really is an amazing talent.
