Kitchen Accessories For Vinyl Fanatics

Okay, this is way out in left field, but someone sent these two kitchen accessories to me manufactured by Gamago. One is a spring-type kitchen timer that looks like a miniature turntable and the other is a pizza cutter that looks like a tonearm playing a record. I'm just saying….

...are great!  Sort of in reverse would be the pizza picture disc from last year's RSD (the other side is the bottom of the crust):

Even though I would never buy it, I'm so glad it exists!

... the Park Tools pizza cutter I bought years ago. Designed to look like a high-wheeled bike of the 1870s-1880s.

For those not into biking, Park Tools was for years the defacto bicycle mechanics' tool company because they offered the specialized tools bike mechanics needed.

Problem was, the tools weren't forged. And so of course they wore out prematurely. Automatic tool re-ordering!

Well, Park Tools is still around, but not without some competition, so I can only presume they've upped their game?

Anyway ... the pizza cutter came about on a lark. It's sharp enough to do the job but the ergonomics sorta suck. I think the "handlebars" broke on my original one, bought a long time ago. http://www.parktool.com/product/pizza-tool-pzt-2

Make a CD Pizza wheel cutter with real recyled CD's, certainly couldn't make them sound less cheesy...

You're making me hungry, off to buy Pizza-must be 12" :)

It was too neat and cheap to pass up off Amazon.
