Reprise to release Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers' The Live Anthology

November 24th, 2009 will see the release of The Live Anthology, a multi-disc, multi-format collection of Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers' live performances culled from thirty years worth of recordings.

No fixes or overdubs mean fans get the live truth chosen by TP, Mike Campbell and Ryan Ulyate, available in 5 formats, including a deluxe Best Buy exclusive set featuring 62 tracks on 5 CDs and on high resolution Blu-ray disc featuring all tracks in stereo and 5.1 channel surround sound, a vinyl remastering of the 1976 Official Live 'Leg bootleg and more.

There will also be a four CD, 48 track set, a 48 track digital download album and a 7 LP 51 track version on 180g vinyl mastered from the 96K/24 bit files.

There will also be a "Superhighway Tour" online experience including advance downloads of 24 of the 48 tracks as either MP3s or high resolution FLAC files over an 8 week period in advance of the official release. The $24.98 "online experience" includes an exclusive "insiders view" of the tracks with archived memorabilia, new band commentary, reviews from the TP and The Heartbreaker vaults and more. Downloads of the remaining 24 tracks will be available to "ticket holders" upon the album's November 24th release. The physical presentations will included deluxe packaging, artwork and all the bells and whistles one expects to get today when buying deluxe physical media.
