Sidecars and Large-Format Desks
Hi. I need to get serious for a second because consoles are a serious subject. It's a huge investment and commitment to go with a real analog desk. At the risk of sounding cheesy, I know consoles. I have sold something in the neighborhood of 30 of them...big, costly SSLs, mostly. I've also provided studios with Tridents, API's, Neoteks, Neves, you name it. This is not to mention that as a vetaran engineer, I have worked on big desks of all types for 25 years. I know the whole process from wiring and power, to installation, servicing, and beyond. Hey, that did sound a little cheesy! Seriously, call me about your console, whether buying or selling. If you think there's a console in your future, we need to talk. As a first-time console buyer, you may not know what all the questions are to ask, even. I'll give you quality guidance and advice, honed over years of experience.
