Yes, this is slightly off topic, but at AXPONA 2016 Prudence Farrow Bruns, who inspired John Lennon to write "Dear Prudence" signed copies of her book "Dear Prudence The Story Behind the Song" and I thought you'd enjoy watching our "The Marketplace" encounter.

Analogueworks is a new U.K. based turntable company founded by former associates of the late Tom Fletcher, whose company Nottingham Analogue is still in business. Another Fletcher associate, Peter Mezek, builds turntables under the Pear Audio name that bear an even closer familial resemblance.

Channel D, purveyor of Pure Vinyl vinyl ripping software (actually the program does far more) also manufactures a line of phono preamplifiers. At AXPONA 2016 Channel D introduced the Seta Supreme, the company's most ambitious and costly phono preamplifier.

Many rooms at AXPONA 2016 featured excellent sound. The best I heard was in the ARC, Sonus Faber, AMG, Kubala-Sosna room.

At CES 2016 Sweet Vinyl’s Leo Hoarty demoed a Sugarcube™ prototype that incorporated a built-in phono preamplifier. The revised edition introduced at AXPONA 2016 does not.

Yes, calling a $27,000 turntable "affordable" is somewhat offensive, but considering that the Air Force One costs $100,000, the $27,000 Air Force Three is downright "affordable".
