ORG To Reissue "Royal Gala Ballet" As Quadruple 45rpm Set

Originally issued as LDS6065 on RCA Soria, this legendary DECCA UK Kingsway Hall recording is easily one of the finest orchestral recordings of the golden age or any age.

Ernest Ansermet conducts The Royal Opera House of Covent Garden Orchestra in ballet music by Adam, Delibes, Schumann, Chopin and of course Tchaikovsky.

This will be a limited to 2500 box set of 4 x 180g 45rpm LPs pressed on RTI's new Ultra Quiet All Clear vinyl, packaged in a deluxe embossed Linen finish two piece box.

The set is newly remastered by Bernie Grundman on his completely upgraded all-analog mastering system from analog masters shipped directly from the Decca vaults in London.

This isn't usually the type of music I am into but, I bet this will sound fantastic. I will probably purchase a copy of this if the price isn't outrageous.

This is a very nice recording and performance.  I have the two record 33rpm set released a number of years ago by Classic records.  I'm not a big fan of 45rpm records, have a few, but rarely play them.

This should rival all media with it's sound.
