This week’s show marks the first anniversary of AnalogPlanet Radio. Hard to believe, but true!

If there’s a better looking record cleaning machine than Pristine Vinyl’s ViVac RCS, I’ve not seen it.

Analogplanet Radio was introduced here a year ago today. Now on the first anniversary of that announcement all of the WFMU HD Radio shows can be accessed in one place on the Analogplanet website.

I received a spread sheet earlier in the year estimating how many records would be pressed in 2016. The total was well in excess of 80,000,000 (yes, eighty million).

Joe Jackson's "angry young man" stance came late in the cycle and so at the time was less than fully convincing. Elvis and Graham had already been there and done that. The picture of Jackson on the back cover of his debut Look Sharp just wasn't convincing.
