It would be great if the Lenco L-455BK Turntable had more color versions. There is nothing to discuss about the quality. Flicking Soccer
Lenco L-455BK Turntable
High End Munich 2025 is in full swing through the weekend — and, rest assured, we’ll be posting a number of firsthand reports in the coming days/weeks. For now, we wanted to put a spotlight on a new, relatively affordable piece of analog gear seen at the big show that is actually available to consumers now — namely, Lenco’s L-455BK turntable.
This new turntable — which was on display and on demo in Lenco’s H3, N15 booth along with two other Lenco tables due later this year, in addition to the company’s new SPB-241 active speakers — features a brushed aluminium frame, Ortofon 2M Red moving magnet (MM) cartridge, 300mm metal platter, mechanical tonearm lift, adjustable counterweight, and a removable dust cover.
The belt-drive L-455BK table features automatic rotation speed checking and correction, and 33⅓ and 45rpm playback speeds. In addition, the built-in switchable phono preamp is said to allow the table’s owner to use the L-455BK with an existing external phono preamp in their system, or connect it to a pair of active speakers. This table also features a USB output that allows for vinyl-to-digital conversion to either PC or Mac.
The L-455BK table’s dimensions are 45.5 x 11.5 x 37.9cm (w/h/d), and its weight is 6.6kg.
Finally, the Lenco L-455BK turntable — which officially became available yesterday, May 15, 2025 — has an SRP of £449 / €499.
