A recently posted review of a phono preamp on a website that is not deserving of mention here once again makes the specious claim that curves other than the RIAA were used in the mastering of stereo records. This is simply not true.

The naysayers were wrong, the show organizers were correct: Brooklyn was a good borough in which to hold a hi-fi show, the holiday weekend didn't greatly (if at all) suppress attendance and even the glorious weather proved not to be factor. The above photo was snapped Sunday afternoon in the VAC/Focal room.
