AnalogPlanet Visits Jerry Harvey Audio

While headphones are not AnalogPlanet's "beat", when editor Michael Fremer found himself in Orlando, Florida to address the Barnes & Noble national manager's convention, at the invitation of company president Andy Regan—a Fremer friend for at least three decades—he visited Orlando based Jerry Harvey Audio.

Jerry Harvey audio manufactures high quality "in-ear" headphones used primarily in the pro-audio concert monitor business. Everyone from Sting to Eric Clapton to Howard Stern and literally you name the star uses them on stage—as do most of the people tasked with producing the onstage mixes.

As consumers began demanding high performance headphones, the company moved aggressively in that direction and now markets a full line of in ear 'phones—both 'custom' (where the customer provides an in-ear mold) and universal.

Take a tour of Jerry Harvey Audio and watch highly skilled artisans and technicians produce American-made 'phones that are popular throughout the world.

Most interesting thig in this post for me was the fact that you were at the B&N National Managers' Convention. Sounds like that's a good things for vinyl at B&N then? Can you share any of the goings on there?
