Mastering in the Time of Covid-19

"Tone Poet" Joe Harley sent this photo taken today at a Kevin Gray mastering session. Analog life goes on at Cohearent Audio during the Pandemic.

I asked Harley what they were working on. Among the "Tone Poet" Blue Note titles being cut were Paul Chambers' Bass on Top and John Scofield/Pat Metheny's I Can See Your House From Here. The rest of what they were doing over the next few days must, for now, remain a secret.

I was there and took the photo. No glass, we were both in the same room, thus the mask(s).

in a situation such as this a mask is probably optional to say the least. most folks would kill to be able to work in such a setting with one or two other people at most .
