These would rock the lab just fine.
Look at all the posts! I may disqualify myself as I already have a pr of T1's but my buddy and I heard them at the Capitol Audiofest and we literally looked around for a sub. These speaks do sound nice and the bass is amazing for their size. My brother-in-law was over the other week and we listened to them using a Logitech Transporter as the source and he was more than a little impressed (Beatles Mono and Pink Floyd selections in FLAC). In fact, he called later to get a link to the Vanatoo web site so I'll send him here.. free is always good!

Since practically all mobile devices today do not have a fixed line output, one must use the headphone output to connect to powered speakers, amp or preamp. Finding the optimum variable output setting by using the transmitting devices volume control is usually a matter of trail and error to find the right setting without damaging the powered speaker. What is one to do in the case of the Vanatoo Transparent One Speakers in using them with a device that only allows one to use the variable output (i.e. Headphone) to connect to the Vanatoo's. What is the analog input requirements for the Vanatoo's? If they only accept a fixed line input, what is one to do when they only have a variable output source and they do not want to damage the powered speaker?
