David Bowie's death came as a complete shock to everyone this morning. I don't even know where to start other than to write that like John Lennon's death, you wake up to a different, diminished world. This Gene Clark Tribute Show had been prepared prior to leaving for The Consumer Electronics

Analogplanet Radio was introduced here a year ago today. Now on the first anniversary of that announcement all of the WFMU HD Radio shows can be accessed in one place on the Analogplanet website.

Today’s Analogplanet.com radio show consists entirely of 12” singles and E.P.'s, mostly at 45rpm. These were popular throughout the 1980s and often featured unique remixes, extended versions and unreleased tracks.

AnalogPlanet editor Michael Fremer made sure to be home from C.E.S. 2017 in time to do a live radio show today, January 9th, about David Bowie, . It's the day after Bowie's birthday and the day before his death.

Today's AnalogPlanet WFDU HD2 radio show consists of songs about infidelity and cheating. It covers most musical genres, which demonstrates that people cheat regardless of their musical preferences! Today's John (Cougar) Melloncamp WFDU HD2 radio show is the final AnalogPlanet radio show. It's sure been fun but it takes up a great deal of time producing and researching—much of every weekend—and it's time to put it to bed, though it's been a fantastic experience.
