Sometimes a large record collection yields up unexpected treasures. Last week Tea Party/GOP Missouri Congressman Todd Akins asserted in a television interview that when it comes to rape, “The female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down.”

What happened next you surely know. The doctor who assured Akins this was true is a Dr. J.C. Willke a "founding father" of the pro-life movement.

The name sounded familiar so I began searching through a wall of unplayed records and sure enough I have his double LP set How to Teach Children The WONDER OF SEX. Considering the misinformation Willke fed Akins, I can only imagine what he told these poor children about sex.

No wait! I take that back. Thanks to the wonders of the vinyl LP, I won't have to wonder too much longer. Even though the record is sealed, I'll risk reducing its collectibility by breaking the seal and playing but I've decided to leave it up to you, the analog planet.com reader to tell me whether or not I should review it.
