Assuming it's like the last few NYC shows, it should take about an hour to hear everything. It's sad to see what's become of NYC audio shows. On the more positive side according to an email advertising the show: "All show attendees will receive a free hi-res trial. You’ll also get to hear Qobuz on some of the finest audio systems in the world."

We'll see.

Agree the show was small but certainly worthwhile if for no other reason than to visit the Robyatt Audio room (702), chat with Robin, and listen to those divine Quads. (Ask him to play some John Lee Hooker!)

Acoustic Sounds brought a nice haul of records for sale including test pressings .For those like me waiting for the "Axis..." album, Chad's guy says the stereo will ship in December, the mono "sometime after that."

You're right about Robbie's room. Those Quad 57s are amazing. Robbie played Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean". Anyone who thinks Quad electrostatics can't do bass should listen to Robbie's Quads. His room was packed for the entire time I was there. The rest of the show wasn't bad. It was a better experience than I expected, though all too brief. I did get a Quobuz free trial code. Listening now. Quobuz reps say they should launch in the US by the end of this year.
