Fremer & Kassem 1/4: Founder's Circle

Filmmaker Ben Williams is posting on YouTube a series of videos he's shot at the Los Angeles and Orange County Audio Society (LAOCAS) December Galas over the past few years. This short one was filmed the day before AnalogPlanet editor Michael Fremer received the Society's Founder's Award. BTW: below the short video is my roast of Chad Kassem when he got the award December 7th 2014. If you haven't watched it, you should!

Michael Fremer and Chad Kassem, both of whom are Founder's Award recipients, discuss their involvement with the Los Angeles and Orange County Audio Society (LAOCAS).

Filmed in December 2018 while both were visiting in Southern California to attend the 25th anniversary gala of the Los Angeles and Orange County Audio Society where Michael Fremer was honored.

This is one in a series of interviews with Michael Fremer, Editor of and Sr. Contributing Editor at Stereophile Magazine, and Chad Kassem, President and CEO of Acoustic Sounds.

to do this speech for Chad better in any thinkable way. My highest respect, this was more than professionally, intellectually and social competence wise funny! This skill is probably the influence of some audiophile, radiating stone or chip in your room I guess.

No word from you since the clown story was taken down. I hope it's just the story that was cancelled, not you! We value your work!

this post had to go. Dedicated folks tend to run riot. Doesn’t make their intent worse, just the style suffers ;-)

I know capitalism is involved, but I LOVE Chad's dedication to all things vinyl and his work to keep under-represented music genres vital.
