Connected-Fidelity CF-1010 Tonearm

Certain gear manufacturers have a knack for choosing a company name that perfectly, and most viscerally, describes what they’re all about — and Connected-Fidelity is one of them. Last year, the hyphenated British manufacturer turned our heads and pricked up our ears with their flagship TT Hub turntable (which we covered here on almost a full year ago, back on December 17, 2024), and they’re doing it again here at the tail end of 2025 with the recent announcement of their all-new CF-1010 tonearm.

The CF-1010 is a 9in tonearm that boasts a curved titanium arm tube and an integrated headshell, and it is said to have been engineered for “stable playback with minimal mechanical interference.” More to that latter point, the headshell incorporates a resonance-absorbing element designed to reduce unwanted vibration as the cartridge tracks a record’s groove. The arm itself utilizes three fixings and a center pillar hole, which, in effect, ensures its suitability for turntables that also share that configuration.

The arm is built around pre-loaded single-point bearings intended to minimize friction by operating with negligible mechanical resistance. The internal wiring is “extremely fine” to reduce electrical resistance, while antiskating is deployed via a hanging-weight system.

Each Connected-Fidelity CF-1010 tonearm includes full installation hardware, 2.0m RCA tonearm cable, digital down-force scale for precise tracking-force adjustment, and a fine fiber brush for vinyl and stylus care. Optional counterweights and headshell weight sets are available as well. The standard counterweight will suit most carts, and Connected-Fidelity adds that they will provide guidance for users seeking particular cart/arm resonance characteristics.

While the aforementioned TT Hub turntable continues to be distributed in the U.S. by Sierra Sound, we have yet to hear if they will do the same for the CF-1010 — but we will keep you posted about that if/when we get any updates. As for the cost, the Connected-Fidelity CF-1010 tonearm carries an SRP of £3,499. The arm will also be sold as part of a package that also includes the TT Hub table along with optional Hana cartridge configurations, though pricing for that tri-combo has yet to be announced.
