In this case, ONE is most definitely not the loneliest number. What I’m talking about here is the news we’ve just received that the Okki Nokki ONE record cleaning machine, a successor to the venerable Netherlands-based company’s revered MK II RCM, is now being distributed in North America by noted specialty distributor VANA Ltd.

The Okki Nokki ONE is said to be the first record cleaning machine to utilize a molded ABS unibody design with fewer moving parts and an integrated reservoir for, quote, “greater reliability.” To that end, the ONE’s newly designed air/fluid suction path is engineered to reflect high-end vacuum technology, with quieter operation and no leaking.

The ONE RCM’s configurable universal vacuum arm adapts to 12in, 10in, and 7in records — which means that, yep, you guessed it, there’s no need at all to change arms to adapt to the size of the record at hand that needs cleaning.

The ONE also comes with a stainless-steel record clamp that fits over the entirety of an LP’s label, and a removable label cover. The company points out that the use of the cover is optional. Also included are one bottle of Okki Nokki cleaning fluid concentrate and one goat hairbrush.

With all manufacturing having been moved back to Okki Nokki’s headquarters in the Netherlands, the ONE RCM is said to be, quote, “an entirely new model engineered from the ground up to deliver maximum convenience and effectiveness.”

Furthermore, “The ONE is an example of Okki Nokki’s commitment to overseeing every step of the design and manufacturing process,” said Roy Feldstein, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of VANA Ltd., in an official press statement. “Instead of simply offering a next-gen version of a consumer favorite, Okki Nokki’s engineers started with a clean slate, ultimately creating a solid, consistently dependable cleaning machine that will perform to spec, year after year.”

Finally, the SRP for the Okki Nokki ONE record cleaning machine is $799.
