KLAUDIO Intros "Record Changer" For KD-CLN-LP200 Ultrasonic Record Cleaning Machine (Video Enhanced)
South Korea based KLAUDIO (as in "Claudio" not "KL Audio") demoed a new add-on "record changer" mechanism for its KD-CLN-LP200 ultrasonic cleaning machine. The new device holds five LPs and automatically inserts them into and then removed them after cleaning from the fluid vat. LEDs show you which records have been cleaned or are still waiting for cleaning.
It's a very cool addition that also includes adapters for both 10" and 7" singles so now all of your records can be ultrasonically cleaned—including 78s. The price is steep: around $5000 but for those with the cash, it's a great add-on.
The company also showed a drop-over clear cover with a front opening hatch, designed to greatly reduce noise so that records can be cleaned in the listening room. The machine should be compatible with that "other" brand cleaning machine. Price has yet to be determined.
