EAT Turntable Price Drop!

EAT's American importer VANA Ltd. announced a series of price drops on EAT turntables.

EAT 'tables are designed by Jozefina Lichtenegger and built in the same factory that produces her husband Heinz's Pro-Ject 'tables. Lest you think this is some kind of "vanity press", you should know that Jozefina was in the vacuum tube business well before she hooked up with Heinz.

The EAT line includes the stunning looking E Flat shown in the photo. The former price was $6500. Now it costs $5495, the drop most likely due to the strong U.S. dollar.

Other price drops include the C Major 'table plus C Note arm now packaged with the Ortorfon Quintet Blue moving coil cartridge for $2495 and the C Sharp 'table for $3995 complete with Quintet Black cartridge. I've got to find time to review that E Flat!

But that flat tonearm takes some getting used to, would imagine setting VTA would be easier though.
