Southern California based turntable and cartridge manufacturer Triangle ART introduced at CES the new Apollo moving coil phono cartridge. It's a follow-up to last year's $3995 Zeus currently under review here.

Like the Zeus the Apollo is designed in California and built in Japan. The new Apollo features a quartz stone body and a special new coil and former said to produce greater resolution and refinement. A micro ridge stylus profile produces greater detail retrieval from the .3mV output design that costs $8000.
